A West Yorkshire based vehicle warranty, asset protection and motoring products company instructed Dale Office Interiors to take complete care of their office expansion and relocation project.
Having secured a new site right next door to their existing site, there was a clear need to refurbish the acquired space. The aim was to accommodate their expanding team, make the office more agile, offer increased meeting and break-out space, and a more modern kitchen facility. The team at Dale grasped the opportunity to create a unique office space with excitement and passion!
A full fit out programme was devised, including design, project management, building works, partitioning, glazing, joinery and flooring, along with attentive final touches such as decorations, window blinds and office furniture from quality suppliers such as Narbutas, Viasit and Frovi – all completed on budget within a 14-week timescale.
David Bricknell, Director of Dale Office Interiors who oversaw the project comments: “The main design hinged on the name of the building – ‘The Courtyard’. With this we felt we had a great opportunity to make something of the internals of the building as there weren’t any key distinctive architectural features to the external building that built any character.
“So we developed a green ‘outdoor’ feel, with courtyard’s, patio’s and planters, which are very evident throughout complimented by natural finishes of wood, stone and grass.
“The end result is a workspace we can all be proud of; it is one that brings our client to the forefront of their market with a very modern workspace for their staff and key stakeholders, and one that followed a very different and rewarding style of project for us to develop at Dale Office Interiors.”

Completed in April 2018, the 10,500ft2 project delivered many stand-out areas, including the canteen ‘courtyard’, a patio on the first floor, a glass forest effect splash-back in the kitchenette and booths throughout. Corporate branding was brought out with the finishing touches in the fabrics and office furniture.
