Addressing office acoustics
Relocating to a new HQ building represented quite a change for Visualsoft. They were moving from a very multicellular building that had once been an old hotel into a completely modern, open plan layout.
Some of the staff were fearful that the noise of 200 staff working open plan would make it difficult to concentrate. So we designed something to address this.
We commissioned colourful blades and lattice of Autex Cube™ from Autex Acoustics to be hung over the noisiest areas. This cost effectively delivered Class A sound control where it was needed most.
acoustic lattice as light surround
Cube™ is a completely safe, non-toxic, non-allergenic and non-irritant decorative and functional medium that give superior sound absorption without compromising aesthetics.
The result is the sound of lively chatting, banter and rattling crockery is dissipated and absorbed. The echo of phone calls, collaborative conversation and general office noise at people’s desks is effectively controlled.
