Office furniture and acoustics with an important role in supporting people with visual & hearing impairments
We were the chosen partner to support the specification and installation of furniture and acoustic solutions for a charity who support people with visual and hearing impairments.
This was a project that was particularly interesting as the furniture and material finishes had to be carefully selected to ensure every surface had clear and defined contrast: allowing partially sighted people to clearly differentiate between the furniture items, flooring and wall colours etc, to support safe navigation of the office environment.
With a clear and defined brief, our team worked closely with the client to guarantee that every surface and material was carefully considered when outlining where items were to be placed, along with working harmoniously with the surroundings and relationship with other items within the space.
The scope of the project was vast, with the team specifying canteen, office, breakout, training room, outdoor furniture and acoustics materials, which all had to be specified with the clients exacting parameters in mind whilst ensuring budgets were not exceeded.
Overall, our team delivered this office refurbishment project in Birmingham and we are very proud to have provided for such a wonderful organisation.
